Bowman - Linden's First 3-time All City Basketball Player, Former President of the Columbus Urban League, Cedric Brown - NFL Player Jim Cleamons - NBA Player and Coach, Buster Douglas - Boxing, World Heavyweight Champion, Hilmer Kenty - Boxing, World Lightweight Champion,J erry Page - Boxing, Olympic Gold Medalist, and William Thomas, Jr. - Actor. Buster Douglas was part of arguably the biggest upset boxing history knocking out The undefeated (50 to 1 odds on favorite) Mike Tyson. Coach Larry Henderson was a legend at Linden-McKinley for his years of dedication teaching, coaching, and mentoring students.
