The Associated Press (AP) capitalizes "Black" in a racial, ethnic, or cultural sense. However, the AP continues to use lowercase "white" in these contexts. News outlets can save tons of money because they now are are focusing on local news.  Everybody Knows by the time the newspaper prints a national story it's already been circulating throughout the web. The bottom line is the Associated Press is irrelevant because it is clearly biased and definitely obsolete.
