  It's 2023 and we have another case of police officers involved in the death of an individual during an attempted arrest. Tragically Tyree Nichols was killed during an incident with police.   Memphis Police Chief Cerelyn Davis said Wednesday that her officers' treatment of 29-year-old Tyre Nichols, who died three days after a traffic stop, was a "failing of basic humanity." Shortly after the Derek Chauvin verdict, the CIA Director wrote a memo praising the Derek Chauvin verdict as,"One step forward" in addressing the "Trauma of Racism and Persistent Inequality in Our Nation."  Will there be equivalent outrage for the African-American police officers accused of secondary murder in Memphis?
