Is big government and social media colluding against private citizens?

 

Thanks to  NSA Whistleblowers Edward Snowden Americans are at least aware of much of the police state reminiscent of George Orwell's 1984 classic. 

Local police departments are using software developed by a CIA-funded company to monitor citizens’ social media posts and their physical locations in real time 24 hours a day.

Homeland Security has fake cell phone towers which are portable and drive in front of your home and download everything you have on your laptops, cell phones, etc.

The FBI has for decades used surveillance and racial profiling to target Muslims, immigrants, people of color, activists in general, and Black activists in particular. AFSC itself has a substantial FBI file,” added Zerkel. “Mass data collection tools will only serve to further criminalize protests and free speech, and expand the criminalization of Muslims and people of color.

The FBI has “dirt boxes” set up on Cessnas which fly around areas wholesale collecting data on private citizens.

Journalists working with the Feds

Operation Mockingbird is an alleged large-scale program of the United States Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) that began in the early years of the Cold War and attempted to manipulate news media for propaganda purposes.

According to author Deborah Davis, Operation Mockingbird recruited leading American journalists into a propaganda network and influenced the operations of front groups.

The details of the surveillance effort, known as iCOP, or Internet Covert Operations Program, have not previously been made public. The work involves having analysts trawl through social media sites to look for what the document describes as “inflammatory” postings and then sharing that information across government agencies.

Google in September agreed to pay $170 million to settle federal and state claims it had violated children's privacy on YouTube by collecting personal information on kids without their parents' consent. 

The complaint filed by the Federal Trade Commission and New York attorney general alleged Google-owned YouTube used "cookies," or personal identifiers, to track kids, allegedly raking in millions by then using the information to show them targeted ads.

Google and CIA: old friends

In 2010, Google and In-Q-Tel made a joint investment on a company called Recorded Future, which has the Minority Report-style goal of creating a "temporal analytics engine" that scours the web and creates curves that predict where events may head.

Google is already helping the government write, and rewrite, history. Here, from its transparency report, are some stats on the amount of information it has either given to the government or wiped from the web based on requests by U.S. agencies:

• 4,601 requests from U.S. government agencies for "user data"
• Google complied with government requests for user data 94% of the time.
• 1,421 requests for "content removal"
• Google complied with content removal requests 87% of the time.
• 15 requests were from "executive, police etc."
• 1 was a national security request.

As many know already Zuckerberg and other billionaires are being investigated for manipulating the 2020 presidential election.  Twitter YouTube, Amazon and Facebook played their part and clearly censoring conservative voices and deep platforming major influences that could have easily swung the presidential election. 

The police state is scary especially when you know that many of these organizations are very Marxist friendly and seem to be in unison with the government schools.
