Just Let China Take ALL of the Medals

Nancy Pelosi turned some heads when she warned athletes not to protest in China the way she encouraged protesting in America.  "As I wish the athletes well, I do not encourage them to speak out against the Chinese government there because I fear for their safety if they do,” Pelosi said.  Will Olympians speak out if China is playing with the house cards creating advantages for the host country?

A newspaper in Seoul reportedly published an article with the headline: “Just let China take all the medals", with many viewers left fuming by the controversy.

Not too long ago, in 2014, the Russian team had won the medal count.  However after Russian defectors exposed the systematic Russian cheating scam, it was apparent the Russians were back at the steroid game attempting to restore their image through the spectacle, taking advantage of home-field advantage.

WADA said that Russia orchestrated a vast state-sponsored doping scheme at the 2014 Sochi Olympics and, after it was caught, altered its athletes' samples and lab results to try to cover it up. ... At the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics, clean Russian athletes appeared under a neutral flag.

After China's was embarrassed losing to the United States at the Tokyo Olympics in nearly every metric, China’s Utopia creating  and sustaining state media published a manipulated Olympic medal count in which they  made they included both Taiwan and Hong Kong to pad their results.  I doubt if Taiwan and Hong Kong were happy about that.

Athletes claimed the officiating in a speed skating event in the 2022 Winter Games were "favorable" toward China.
The event saw the host country nabbing gold and silver despite a Hungarian participant crossing the finish line first
Chinese participants were not penalized in the event unlike their American and Russian counterparts.

After the semi-finals of the men’s 1000m, Australian Winter Olympics icon Steven Bradbury said China was receiving the rub of the green on the ice.

“Unbelievable. All three Chinese (in the final) — really having the gift of short track,” Bradbury said.

Once the final had been run and won, Bradbury added: “Nothing could be more favourable for the Chinese team with the judges than what’s happened tonight here in Beijing.”

South Korea, who were among the favorites, were eliminated in a separate race and China went on to triumph in the final to claim the host nation’s first gold medal of the Games.

“Looking at the way China won the gold medal, I felt bad that my younger teammates had to watch something like that,” speed skater Kwak stated.

Yahoo News: "The Chinese men's 5000m short track speed skating relay team advanced to the final on Thursday night in Beijing, but no one was quite sure how. And many watching felt it was oddly similar to the mixed team relay competition in which China also advanced amid controversy."

Is China 2022 trying to claim the glory by any means necessary?  You decide..
