Russian State Media (RT) is Spinning the Invasion of Ukraine as "The WEST Made Putin Do This"

RT Television is Russian government media that has a way of framing the news in a way that is able to print facts but lies by omission.  

Russia’s military operation in Ukraine is continuing after the country’s leadership declined to negotiate, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Saturday.  RT left out the fact that on February 25, the Kremlin spokesman Dmitriy Peskov said that Ukraine offered to hold the negotiations in Warsaw, instead of Minsk, which was proposed by Russia. Then, according to Peskov, Ukraine stopped the conversation.

Russia's Defense Ministry reported later on Thursday that Russian troops were not delivering strikes against Ukrainian cities. It emphasized that the Ukrainian military infrastructure was being destroyed by precision weapons.  But many reports, videos, and pictures prove this to be a lie.

RT also spends time implying the US in Somalia is the equivalent of Russia in Ukraine.  Their subheading reads A drone attack targeting al-Shabaab terrorists in Somalia is the latest in a 15-year bombing campaign. Nowhere in the article is the context that the Somalian government works with the US to root out terrorists. This is far different from forcefully removing leaders and purposefully bombing or running over civilians. 

China did say, “The U.S. has been fueling the flame, fanning up the flame, how do they want to put out the fire?” More recently, China Foreign Minister Wang Yi) said "It is absolutely imperative for all sides to exercise restraint to prevent the conflict from getting out of control.”

No country sided with Russia in the efforts to condemn Russia for its invasion of Ukraine.  Only China and India abstained from the vote.  

Besides Russia, nobody believes the Russian propaganda.
