Do Never-Trump individuals often have a common attribute
The Pew Research Center pointed out the legacy media (corporate, mainstream) bias during the DJT presidency. It's no surprise the Never Trump crowd get a front seat with the corporate media. But should the spewing from Never Trump individuals be taken with a grain of salt?
The Pew Report
Only about one-in-ten stories (11%) delivered an overall positive assessment of the administration’s words or actions. Four times as many were negative coverage.
AP News Examined
"Former Defense Secretary Mark Esper has called him a “threat to democracy.” Former national security adviser John Bolton has declared him “unfit to be president.” And former Vice President Mike Pence has declined to endorse him, citing “profound differences.” "
Mark Esper
Esper was critical of Trump in his book, “A Sacred Oath,” where he admitted he was not willing to protect the US border with American troops as Trump suggested. Recently Texas was forced to sent the National Guard to do just as Trump suggested.
Esper also said Trump asked about launching missile strikes on Mexican drug labs.
Trump fired Esper.
John Bolton
Esper was a dove when compared to Trump, but Bolton was a Warhawk. Trump said he used the hawkish reputation of Bolton to effectively bargain with world leaders.
Bolten critics Bolton refused to defend the president’s policies on Russia and refused to agreement with Trump's decisions.
Fired
Mike Pence
Trump warned Pence that if Pence certified the corrupt election, that Pence’s political career would be over.
Trump said about Pence..."Had he sent the votes back to the legislatures, they wouldn’t have had a problem with Jan. 6, so in many ways you can blame him for Jan. 6,” the former president said, referring to Pence’s refusal to reject the electoral college votes in Congress as Trump wanted him to do that day. “
Trump Ended Pence's political career in the recent primaries.
Conclusion
Never -Trump media darlings are desperate to be redeemed by a more-than willing anti- Trump corporate media to use them as part of their fake narrative. The disgruntled with Trump are often relegated to a life being media lapdogs.
