DEI Gets Personal
Diversity is now code language for something much larger. DEI is controversial for good reasons. "Diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) refers to practices and policies intended to support people who come from varying backgrounds and give them the resources they need to thrive in the workplace. A DEI framework takes into account factors like race, gender and sexual orientation, so teams can find ways to help employees of marginalized groups succeed." RACE should never be a factor in deciding whether or not you are qualified for anything."
