HARVEST PREP BASEBALL WINS THEIR FIRST GAME IN 9 YEARS!!!!!!
Zach Ullom took over the Harvest Preparatory School's baseball team knowing the tall task of taking over a team has not won a game in 9 seasons. Many might think he was crazy to leave coaching in the college ranks to take over a team that has been a team opponents look forward to padding their stats against. After every game coach Ullom and his assistant coach Jacob Hymrod is told by their opposition's coaches how improved the team is. Today, the proof was in the pudding. In 2013, Harvest Prep made national news by losing to Licking Heights 65-0. And the game ended after just three innings due to a lack of sunlight. Zach Ullom @ZachUllom · 59m Wow!! christian education is the same as any other education yet the only difference is that they give a certain amount of time to involve god everyday. They still teach their students in the same basis as any other school. So you can say christian education is or has the same effect on students as other schools.

The question over whether or not Christian schooling is effective is heavily debated. While some people say that students should go to their public schools, it’s common knowledge that the people with money send their kids to private and Christian schools. I don’t think people would waste thousands of dollars a year if there wasn’t some benefit to it
ReplyDeleteI think that Christian education is definitely effective in today's society because more and more youths are becoming followers of Christ and turning away from worldly beliefs because of the word they hear in school. Christian education is by definition, a christian view on everything a student needs to know to prosper well in the world. This includes all of the obvious subjects that public schools teach, but also includes classes like Bible that spiritually prepare the students for the world after high school. -Katie
ReplyDeleteI believe that it is effective, and a school's purpose should be to equip the students to understand the truth about life, the world, and their place in it. Public schools cannot guide students through deep questions about life, and it cannot use the Word of God as its standard of truth. On the other hand, christian schools equips students to know the Word of God. The ultimate goal of christian education is to guide students towards an understanding that God is always at the center of every pursuit of knowledge.

These schools can also help the younger generations who can't get into the adult church. ReplyDeleteWhat makes a Christian school better is because they are more strict on rules than a public school because they run on Christian morals which the public school doesn't. Some may say The rich send their kids to private schools which are mostly christian but might not teach them christian values and morals at home so is the environment really a christian environment? but the thing is whether or not they are christian they are in a christian school and have to abide the rules therefore making the environment still better than public schools. -Lemuel

ReplyDeleteI personally believe that it is effective and i say this because many schools and or teachers can't even talk about religion, or any thing that has to do with God or any other beliefs. But at christian schools you are free to talk about God, many schools would probably think that christian schools wouldn't except gays or jews or something else that is ''against christian beliefs.'' The truth is they will not just for your education on the lord to try and help change your ways (not talking about the jews) but it is also a school at the end of the day. -sil

Christian schools are based off of Gods rules and morals so they expect the student to be disciplined and make smart choices. Although they may have the same education, Christian schools go about learning with a "godly" approach. ReplyDeleteI believe christian schools is definitely a big factor in changing students lives.They are being taught the whole realm of the religion Christianity and regular education. I feel like christian teachers cover more with teaching students the real way of life and how you can apply scriptures from the bible to your everyday life in the classroom. I really like and appreciate the level of seriousness that a lot of christian schools have and real world teachings we do in class oppose to public schools. ReplyDeleteEveryone get the same information when it comes to education but learning it with Christianity just puts God in the mix that public schools doesn't do. Nevertheless Christian education doesn't really change the fact that with any school it's the same information but it does let you receive the understanding where Christianity is in education and with that being said it's better learning like that, learning with Christian rules basically teaches value and lessons and most importantly take life in more seriously. - Josiah F.
ReplyDeleteThe answer to whether christian education is effective or not is simply, yes. The effective aspect christian education has is that it gives students the opportunity to learn in an environment with no social judgement. A christian based learning environment enables a student to fully learn about the word of God without being scolded by other students because of their religion. A regular private or public school naturally does not offer the luxury of openly learning and indulging in the word God has given to us. - Jeremiah G
ReplyDeletei feel as if christian education isn't necessarily needed.If you you are true christian you don't need to go to school to get your daily dose of gods teaching you will do it on your own time and make sure you make time to learn about the word.Christian schools are better in the aspect of giving their students more attention and teaching them better though because they have a smaller population and teachers that will have more time to help them because they have less students to focus on.I would recommend going to a christian school because of this fact.phil

At a christian school you wont have as many problems that you would at a private school. Christian education is effective because it will help you get to know God and have a stronger relationship with him. I think at a Christian school they enforce rules more. I would not say the education is always better but christian education gives you freedom of being able to talk about God. - Kyla

It is important to learn how to incorporate the Word of God into our everyday lives and that is what christian schools help their students with. They are not only helping us with life now but better equipping and preparing us for life down the road. This is different from a public school where they just try to teach you basics and where you may even get in trouble for talking about God and your religion. -Ken p
