Fathers are Needed now more than ever

The Generational Blueprint: How Father Absence Shapes the Future of Faith For decades, sociologists, criminologists, and policymakers have pointed to a recurring crisis at the center of modern social decay: the collapse of the nuclear family. Statistics compiled by the U.S. Census Bureau reveal that approximately 18.2 million children—roughly 1 in 4—grow up without a biological, step, or adoptive father in the home. The material outcomes of this shift are well-documented, showing a strong correlation with increased poverty rates, educational disparities, and juvenile behavioral disorders. However, a less visible but equally seismic shift is occurring in the cultural and religious fabric of society. Recent empirical research shows a direct connection—a coronation of structural outcome—between the presence of a father and the retention of faith. Data suggests that fatherlessness is not merely a socioeconomic challenge, but the primary indicator driving the decline of modern church a...

Temple's College Top 5 (based on week one)

 1. Alabama had a Dominating performance on offense and defense, proving Miami is still not an elite program.

2. Ohio State up 2 spots. Ohio State looked very impressive on offense, but the defense was lacking at the linebacker position. With three starters missing at the defensive back spots, this week will be the real test to see if they are legit.  The fill in cornerbacks actually looked pretty good even though they were very inexperienced.

3 Texas A& M moves up 3 spots after dominating an inferior opponent.

4.  Cincinnati moves up 5 spots (dominating performance).

5 No Change. Georgia had an unimpressive win on a pick six. Their defense did look, good especially with their blitzing defensive line.  They do get a top three win.

Keeping an eye out after big wins from Iowa,  Michigan State, in Michigan.

Iowa plays Iowa State next Saturday.

Notre Dame needed overtime to defeat unranked Florida State.

Ohio State play Oregon Saturday.

Next week we will find out more about Ohio state's defense and Georgia's offense.

**Potential upset alert

Cincinnati @ sold out Indiana.

Oklahoma squeaked by and unranked opponent, proving once again their defense is still not championship level.

No Longer in the top 10...Clemson -no offensive touchdowns.  The defense held up. The eyeball test really looked bad for Clemson on offense. Seem to have nobody able to stretch the field.
