NBA Owner says He doesn't care about the tortured Chinese

The Houston Rocket's general manager Daryl Morey made the mistake of having negative opinion towards China.  To no surprise the socially "woke" league apparently is blind to any cause other than being the anti-Western Civilization echo chamber

Daryl Morey's tweet supported protesters in Hong Kong: “fight for freedom, stand with Hong Kong.”  This tweet led to everyone with clout in the NBA speaking out against Morey, while defending China.

Education via China

China is spending $10 billion a year to promote its image abroad through efforts like cultural festivals, foreign media  and educational exchanges. The Confucius Institutes are spreading communist propaganda in over 500 universities in America.

Hollywood

China now essentially owns and controls most of the Hollywood entertainment industry.

China only allows 34 foreign (i.e. films made outside of China) films into the market per year. This low number of foreign films cuts out their competition and censors ideas that the Communist Party says “may disrupt social harmony.”

Wanda, a real estate and entertainment conglomerate owned by China’s richest man, Wang Jianlin, paid $2.6 billion for AMC Entertainment, the parent of AMC Theatres, the second-largest theater chain in the U.S.

FBI admitted

"We’ve now reached the point where the FBI is opening a new China-related counterintelligence case about every 10 hours. Of the nearly 5,000 active FBI counterintelligence cases currently underway across the country, almost half are related to China. And at this very moment, China is working to compromise American health care organizations, pharmaceutical companies, and academic institutions conducting essential COVID-19 research."

NBA

-Chinese sneaker companies, Li-Ning and Anta, that proudly profit from Muslim slave labor.
-Their most significant television partner is Tencent, which is a streaming service in China with hundreds of millions of viewers.

It's no wonder the Golden State Warriors co-owner Chamath Palihapitiya, stated "nobody cares" about the Uyghur genocide in China.
