Anti-Trump CNN soon will have pro Trump ownership in Charge?

John Malone is leading the charge to remake CNN into an actual news organization unlike it has been for years.



John Malone, a billionaire Trump donor. He retains a 25 percent voting interest in Discovery, which is set to take control of WarnerMedia later this year – including CNN.

John Malone owns more land than anyone in America, owning over two million acres across seven states. 

As the CEO of TCI he sold his firm to AT&T for more than $50 billion in 1999.  Now the 81 year old's firm is buying CNN from AT&T.  It was Malone who pushed anti-Trump Zucker out the door from his leadership post at CNN. 

John Malone said he wants real journalism that is balanced.  Mr Malone is confident the new CEO of CNN, David Zaslov, will do a great job.

Discovery CEO David Zaslav  earns his  $246 million dollar salary as the president and chief executive officer of Discovery Inc.  Since 2007 he has led Discovery to become a Fortune 500 company in 2014,

If you are wondering which guy has the most influence on CNN, this comment might clue you in: During an interview with CNN's Poppy Harlow after the mega-merger was announced, Zaslav expressed excitement about working with Zucker, who he called a "good friend."

David Zaslav had to walk back comments that CNN was the news for the left.  I'm not sure why he needs to walk back that fact. 

Many might wonder if the billionaire Trump donor will take Over CNN And turn CNN into “Fox News Light," has Jim Acosta fears.  And since Malone donated $250,000 to the Trump campaign, these fears might just maybe based in reality.

Four decades ago Jimmy Carter became the last president elected in the great state of Texas.  America's second most populated state has been consistently a red state ever since the Georgia peanut farmer led America.
